Gas Tube Roll Pins

I was recently in the states at a gun shop looking for some Gas Tube Roll pins for my AR's both for spares and future builds. I was told that the smith in the shop didnt want to part with any but you could buy small enough roll pins at a hardware store. Does anyone know if that is true? I haven't been to crappy tire or home depo yet looking for them but dhas anyone else had a similar solution?

The reason is i dont want to make a mail/internet order for a 50 cent part and then buy a hundred of them to make the shipping worth while eh?

Home depot/Rona carry TONS of roll pins. All sizes. I guarantee you will find the right diameter... but you might need to cut to length.

Either way, don't bother ordering crap like that from the US.

A bolt supply house will have what you are looking for in the right size and length.
