Hello eveyone, I also live in Kitchener and I'm a member at the Colby range. I would really like to try out one of the outdoor handgun ranges in the area. Would I have to become a member with one of these ranges to try it out and would I have to get another ATT or can I use the same one that I use for Colby. Sorry I can't remember the law regarding club ATT's. Thanks!
 
You definitely need another ATT. It can be a real PITA though. According to the CFO here you need a written document from one of the club exec/board members inviting you to their range. Then you have to send that in with all your usual details. That's why many shooters just get province-wide ATTs, or arrange so that trips to gunsmiths conviently go past ranges.

ATT's are stupid but your CFO is really putting the screws to you

Welcome aboard the CGN! I live in Cambridge, Been a collectin for years ( BIG iron military ) I used to shoot at the Galt club, had kids n stopped plingking....Ready to join up again.

X2 Id like to know as well as I just got a place in Waterloo last week (yay me!)
 
I'm a member at Colby and I do enjoy it. I like how I have 24 hour range access and that there is a gun store attached to the property. I find the staff friendly and informative.
