...a bit late introducing myself, I live just south of Mill Bay, BC.

I used to shoot quite a bit as a teen, when proper technique in .30 cal was taught in Army Cadets, and managed to buff that out a touch in the reserves. Moving from the land of Ontar, I had to leave all my favourites behind... :( ...had I stayed involved, I'd likely be 12/3 qualified! Ah well, but nowhere to shoot 'em anyways... correct?

So, getting back involved due to a more stable lifestyle, I've picked up a nightmare-goddam M14s with a crookedly installed barrel!! at least it was cheap, and with the sights all maxed out to compensate the bullet at least goes to where I'm putting it, enough to ring the old saw blade set up at the range. Trigger time's more important for me at this time, and the gun's sure to get rectified in the future. (presently looking for a .223, of course.. HA!)

Interests? As many here, centerfire longer distance target shooting. With iron sights, tho', using a sling. What IS with all these scopes off of bipods, sitting at a table? Whatever happened to three-position shooting? end of rant...

My crusty comment- iron sights and slings rule! Also shopping for a decent No4 Mk1... with the nicer graduated rear sight, .303 or 7.62.

All comes in time. Glad to be here.

...oh yeah, one more thing...

I'm not used to buying rifles I can't inspect personally, so I don't know if my trader rating will change much. If you live on the Vancouver Island, I'll travel to see what you have for sale, and maybe even to Vancouver, if it's worth it. :)

Welcome, and regards ti personal inspection, depends on the item and the person, check for trader rating, if person has good one, they are very factual re condition of firearm.
