I'm fairly new here... been lurking for a couple months.
I just thought I'd introduce myself.
I'm new to all of this - I'm registered to take the OFSC/ORFSC and OHEC next month and I've already been promised a gun as soon as my registrations go through. My Father-in-law has a 12ga Remington 870 (an older one, express I think - 6-7yrs maybe) that he is giving me.
I'll likely be going pheasant/duck/goose hunting to start but eventually maybe some deer and moose might find themselves in my sights... and yes, I know a 12ga shotgun is not going to be very effective against a moose - that'll be after I acquire another gun or twelve.

I live in London, Ontario but my dad lives up in NW Ontario and he's looking forward to an opportunity to get me up there to look for a moose or two.
