Im speachless. Not sure I need/want more weight and nobby-ness on the Tav, and I have never needed a forward assist.

Not too sure how and when you would ever need a forward assist in a tavor, if the bolt is not going into battery in a tavor, it probably means it should definately not be forced into battery. The rifle was built by iwi to be shot on the beach as is, that means dripping with sea water and SAND. Why would it need american engineering to bubba it with a forward asist?
Just americans trying to turn a tavor in an AR. Which is just plain wrong...
But thats just my opinion.

I tagged TV-PressPass on the TOG facebook group and have been talking to him via text about this. This is my exact thoughts as well. Americans trying to "improve a platform" by trying to turn it into something it was never meant to be. Just buy an AR if you want an AR.

Do not want! Then again, there are only a few mods for the Tavor that i think are actually useful. Most just seem gimmicky.

This has to be a joke—it'd be right in your face when shooting, and there are no corresponding notches in the bolt carrier like an AR's for the assist to work with.

GHW custom milled the BCG for it to work.
