Gear Head Works Tavor port cover

Hi all, any leads in terms of where I might find the above cover? I know Manticore makes one too, not sure if it has the QD sling mount which is what Im after.

Having used a few of these, it’s overrated. I’d just use wide black colored duct tape and tape up the whole unused port. On top of that, if your screws ever loosen it’ll jam up the intervals. Secondly those tapered screws once were stuck and the small Allen key slot stripped, needing to be drilled out to disassemble.

For QD you might want to use an Magpul RSA instead mounted directly on the top rail, works very well.

The Manticore one does have a QD mount, RDSC gets them in regularly.

I've also got the Manticore gasketed port cover and it seems to work well. Very solid.

Stripped screws and stripped out tools are generally a user error problem.

Agreed. I've had the manticore for years now and its been excellent. It noticeably reduces the eye watering effect from the gas blow back and the QD socket is in pretty much the perfect location IMO. The tavor/X95 series is a weird rifle to two point sling so I'm always running my Vickers padded 2-2-1 in single point configuration and it hangs very nicely from that location.
