I'd never heard of this brand before - apparently made in Germany, Switzerland, Sweden and Hungary. Picked up a box of 50 JHP 9mm 115 grain for $36.95 which is crazy inexpensive for defensive ammunition - normally you're only getting 20 - 25 rounds for that price.

Anyone tried it? I won't have an opportunity to shoot it for a while, but if people tell me it's great, maybe I'll grab a bunch more boxes while they're still available. (It will be out of a S&W FPC.)

I really like Geco ammunition. Good quality manufacturing and I have never had a failure to feed or failure to eject after about 2000 rounds. It is typically loaded hot and the 115 gr JHP should give you muzzle velocities north of 1200 fps. You will find it “snappy”.

Excellent, thank you. The price seems to make it a no-brainer.

Some poor performance on ballistics gel test on YouTube. some opening up nice and other not so much, I always take ballistics gels tests with a grain of salt.

Just a quick update - accurate as all get out in my S&W FPC. Right to point of aim with Holosun HE403B green dot (fresh out of the box itself, no zeroing necessary) at 25 yards. No idea about velocities achieved, no chronograph. But it shoots great!
