.177 cal. looks identical to RWS 34, as anyone heard of this importer? If so out of where and distribution. Also there is an excellent article in the latest Backwoodsman magazine on reservoir air rifles, historical and present day.

I presume that you meant Gecado and not Gedaco.

This is one of the many "house brand" names that the Mayer & Grammelspacher airguns are produced under. Other names you will see on their guns over the decades include:
Diana
Original
Geco
Condor
and likely a few others that escape me at the moment.
