Just wondering if anyone has an amount of decoys per person they find works good and if they add silhouettes with there full body's
I currently only have big foots but not that many..
Should I stick to bigfoots only or. Do I add others to my collection ?

I know this is probably a person preference but just wondering what others are doing that works for them ..
Thanks

Nothing wrong with mixing brands or types of decoys. I used to run a mixed spread of GHG and Bigfoot B2 full bodies along with Real Geese silos and Higdon and GHG shells. In fact I still do except I just run silos for Canada's now and a mix of Dakota full body snows with GHG snow/blue shells. My hunting partner who is Chisholm on here runs a spread of Dakota full body lessers, bigfoots and GHG snow/blue shells. When it's all put out it looks fairly impressive!! Even to the final judges, the geese!!
I have been selling off my fb's and shells as I don't want to have to buy and haul a trailer as my spread grows so by next season for me it will be 8 dozen Real Geese Canada silos mixed with two dozen Real Geese Speck silos and a couple hundred snow/blue silo socks, that way I can put my whole spread in my truck and no trailer required.

Here is a mix of Bigfoot, Real Geese, GHG and Redhead brands from mine and Chisholm's first season after moving to SK. We used this same spread in Ontario.

Ok great
Now a guy in town is selling 4 dozon pro series 1 silos
Says they are 2-3 years old
Any advice on buying these used decoys?
I am only used to seeing full body big foots?

If they are in good shape you should get them for about $100/dozen tops! I have the original series, PS1 and PS 2's. They are all good decoys. I bought a flocking kit and flocked the heads and tails. Huge difference! They really take on a realistic look at distance with the flocking.
