I'm considering this for a 308 AR that's on the way, any owners/operators out there using it? any advantages over the SSA-E?

My understanding is that the National Match DMR triggers are designed around precision rifle work, not fast follow-up shots and quick resets. The SSA, SSA-E and 3Gun triggers are designed for fast shooting, with the 3 gun trigger being single-stage and a much lighter pull, and the SSA being fast but suitable for duty work. I could be wrong but that is my understanding.

I have never used the National Match triggers, so I can't comment on them. My Guissele experience is limited to the SSA, SSA-E and ACR (basically just a modified SSA) triggers.

Well I talked to my "smith" and he had one that "doubled" on a customer? so I decided to go with the adjustable one.

Great trigger, I have one in my mws.
Works equally well for precision and drills.
A large step up from the ssa-e, which I also have, as well as the s3g.

How did you find the installation in the lower? I was reading on the "HIde" that buddy has some issues with the spring not fitting in? Mines destined for a .308 SIG lower which is Mil Spec.

From a post at the "Hide"

I also picked one up about two months ago and put the Bushnell HDMR H-59 on it. I also tried to change the trigger to a Geissele DMR trigger but couldn't get it to clear the safety selector (not the actual safety in the lower, but the second trigger pin was blocked by the HDMR). I didn't want to do any extensive fitting so I installed a Geissele 3 Gun (and it fit right in without any problems).

Did you shoot the trigger as it came and then adjusted later if need be?

Everything you need to know. Great vid, even just for the background info of how the company was started.
Skip to 12:00 for info about the High Speed National Match Trigger.

I know this was an old thread but for anyone looking, this is a great trigger. Ran the DMR in my 308 build until I got an SR-15 and traded out the stock KAC two stage for the Geissele. I kept the first stage heavy and lowered the second for a really light crisp break.

It surprised a lot of people with how accurate a 308 AR platform could be.

The Hi-Speed line, as the name suggests, are just as proficient in fast follow-up shots as the non-adjustable line. They possess as fast a reset time as any GA hammer. The precise shot release is the bonus. They are the "uber" Geissele Automatics which the others are compared to. ;)
