So happy to report my first outing with my NEW tavor, wow is all I can say it's perfect! With the trigger bow also installed it's a hole new gun I put 100 down range but also had 2 LPS😦. The crisp in the break is just unreal and wasn't hard to get use to, I definitely shot better! I do recommend it but makes me nervous when you see posts with the hammer snapped off and the cost of one!

Just put a Geissele trigger in my Tavor, have had a Tmney pack in it for a while already. The combination of both just had to be shot to be believed!!

You guys are killing me! I want the trigger pack & new trigger, but MAN THEY ARE EXPENSIVE!!!

Cheers
Jay

I was on the first canadain shipment of the geissele trigger packs and the trigger bow. Both items made a MASSIVE difference when each were installed and I love them, I can't recommend them enough. If the trigger packs price is intimidating even just getting the much cheaper trigger bow makes an amazing difference.

I have never had a light strike with my tavor though, what ammo were you using?

Jay, if you like shooting your Tavor, THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY!!
(Yes, I am sometimes known as an enabler!)

This, so much this.

I am looking for the Lightning Bow. Not sold on a trigger pack yet. Prefer a single stage trigger on a rifle over a 2 stage, also a bit unnerved of reported light primer strikes some have had. Understand others make single stage packs but sketchy failure rates. The biggest problem I am having right now is finding a Lightning Bow. CTC and Wolverine are out of stock. Arms East has not returned my call or answer there phone. Anyone know any other sponsors with them?

I got both of mine from Arms east.

If you email, they will get back to you, they are just a bit slow some times.

So I understand you have the Geissele Lightning Bow installed, what hammer/sear pack?

Also should note that only Timney has had hammers snapping except for on batch of Geissele that missed a level of QC. Other than that the Geisseles and TAV-D's have been 100%. Geissele actually has thier hammers forged at the same foundry using the same process as IWI.

Moe, I also am not a fan of the 2 stage which is why I went to the Timney pack. The first batch of Timneys had a hammer spring that was not strong enough. I sent it back to Timney and they swapped it out for one of the new ones for me. No issues since. I did see the post about a Timney with a broken hammer, but there are hundreds of Tavors out there running Timneys and it's the first one I have heard of breaking. Timney will also replace it free of charge or I will be VERY surprised!
