I can not believe it has been 4 years since we made the 1st production run of our version of the AR15 rifles. With 2012 comes Generation 4 of the AT15.
Changes are again made to improve and enhance the lowers and uppers.

Latest version features an ambi bolt release, ambi safety and a slightly different contour that is now precisely mated with our uppers giving them a very classy look. Tolerances have been tightened even further and overall quality is even better than in past generations. we are retaining the captured pins and detents as well as the rear tensioner though this feature is virtually redundant now.
These new lowers will not fit all other uppers so we will likely be only selling matched uppers and lowers as a set. Some other makers uppers may fit but you will loose the tight tolerances between the upper and lower attaching points.

We plan to unveil this latest generation at the Calgary gun Show in early April.:D

Will these be fully compatible with the Danial Defence Lite Rail, not having to file down the hex screws? Will there be any price difference?

Being as our uppers are thicker dimensionly than any of the mil spec uppers, the DD screw heads will still require modification to allow for the use of the DD rails.
Despite the additional machine operations and added parts included over the last 3 years versions we have been able to refine our production abilities to improve the tolerance and finish and have also purchased some different tooling that allows us to manufacture the parts a little faster than before so are able to keep the pricing the same as we have for the last 3 years:D

Would be nice if you could sell the lower only, with a list of uppers that fit well. I have a vltor upper that I was thinking about using with your lower.

I'll be at the calgary gun show and looking forward to checking out your booth :D

We can sell you a lower, but chances are high you will need to modify the upper and lower to fit. On 99% of the assorted uppers and lowers that are mass produced the pin boss dimension is plus or minus .004, so basically anybodies mass produced parts will fit anyone elses.
We are holding out spec to plus or minus .001 which will mean potentially having to machine down the pin bosses to fit a milspec upper.
The tolerances of milspec make sense for military use so any suppliers stuff will fit, but for the civilian market where it seems there is a desire for better fitment and closer tolerances we feel that this is a natural fit for our niche.
Extreme high quality and very tight tolerances on fitment:D

I know the bolt release is the big thing but why not include the ambidextrous mag release an ambidextrous safety out of the gate to make this generations fully ambidextrous out of the box?
Can we have picture of the other side of the receiver as well?
