I was pretty apprehensive buying this rifle due to all the negative reviews in regards to its ability to function well. I ended up taking the risk anyways.
I spent the weekend out running through various courses of fire. I have 5 mags and typically would use them all during whatever it was I was doing at the time.
I did not clean the gun prior to using it. (this was its first range trip)
I did not have a single function issue over the course of 1000rds.
I was shooting blazer ammo.
I have since taken the gun apart and noticed that it is a lot cleaner than I would have expected.
I also own a S&W M&P 15-22. In my experience, the 15-22 gets much dirtier compared to the mk22.
Anyways, just wanted to put this out there in case it benefits anyone. If I remeber, I may update every 1000 rounds or so.
