Has anyone here used this stuff?? We are using it at work as a training round and it is extremely unreliable and I believe it to be dangerous. Lots of FTF, stove pipes, double feeds. Even had it once chamber the empty casing it was supposed to eject!!?? One person had 20 stoppages in 68 rounds fired(different pistols and mags). I believe it's a bad batch but I'm tracking down more than a couple of times this has happened nationally. Some districts of the country have had zero problems. I know it's widely used in the Ministry of Public Safety so anyone else here had these problem or know of anyone else?? Looking for officers responses. Does the CF use this for training?? Thanks.

The CAF, only uses IVI ammo(unless shotgun or sniper specialties) for real shooting, simmunition for Sim trng or blanks.

General Dynamics is IVI. The green shield stuff is frangible,, never used it myself.

I believe it's less then 1 year. Arrived last fall. Warranty for 1 year and a shelf life of 5 years.
Myself and another instructor took 3 mags each with a combined total of 64 rounds. We had 13 stoppages. Some phone call were made, different manufacturers ammo showed 5 hours later, good to go for a couple of weeks. After that, dunno.
