General opinion on RRA AR15s?

Looking into getting my first ''serious'' AR (and not just a casual sunday plinker), and while browsing, something caught my eye.
While a few 100$ more than I was shopping for, I wouldn't mind waiting a few months more, if it's worth it.
What is the general opinion on RRA ar15s?

This is the model in particular, which would be likely be topped with a 1-6x razor gen ll.

Also, knowing very little on the platform, I would presume that a 1:8 twist 18'' barrel would have enough gas to push 69gr SMKs to 500M?
Sierra also states that 77gr SMK need an 1:8 minimum, so could also go heavier.
 
I did a franken build with an RRA barrel and was happy with the accuracy. Think I got some firsts at some small club level service rifle matches with it.
Their triggers are not too bad either. I would say they should be the min standard that all AR triggers should meet or surpass. (I say that because I have seen some rancid AR triggers before, and this is coming from someone that isnt a trigger snob)
 
I have several RRA firearms. I have never had an issue with them. The fit and finish is much better than Colt Canada rifles (I have several) . In fact I like them better than my Colt Canada rifles. When at the range I let anyone shoot them who ask. Every one has remarked on what work I did to them. I mention that I never changed anything they are as they came out of the box. My biggest complaint is the BS of pre order. I will never preorder firearms again. I found with my experience that the Canadian distributers are waaay toooooo slow.
 
Yes the CDN distributor is works on a pre-order basis.
Good to know RRA are good, sucks to hear they are slow comming in.
This is a spring project anyhow, as i haven’t figured the reloading around this.
I wish to go slower than my dillon 650, but faster than my single stage.
Contemplating using a 550, but powder manually instead of powder hopper, and remove cartridge from shellplate at the right moment to pass it in my forster 3in1 trim/chamfer/debur.

I’m also thinking, got a BNIB stripped LRB arms lower sitting in the safe (sitting there never thinking doing anything with it, was more like a vote so i can help with AR owner figures).
I could order the competition upper from AR seen in link, and build up the lower with a few parts.
