What ya got? What's your experience with them?

I just have an early 70's set for 7x57, which I really enjoy using. I am thinking I also need a set for 308 Win.

Are they readily available here in Canada?

If you are talking about the classic Lee Loader they are readily available in Canada. Fine for very low volume reloading needs and capable of good accuracy with proper choice of components. Great for load development while out shooting in the field or range assuming the range allows it.

I have a 12ga 2 3/4 inch set a 10ga 2 7/8 set a 9mm set and a .458 win mag set all in the black cardboard. Lee still makes these in quite a few cartridges but not as many as they used to and shotgun gauges are not available.

They're what many people started with, including myself around 1980. It's all I had for the first several years. At that time I only owned one centerfire, a .30-06.
I burned quite a few pounds of powder with it.

I think lee reloading kit is perfect for starting out.
For 199.99 for the kit you cant go wrong. I bought my two year and a great cheap way to get into reloading. Plus i really like lee dies and there half the cost of everything else and work great.

I have two. One in 303 and one in 3030. The 303 works well. I’ve had some issues with casing length on the 3030 and getting it to chamber properly. Other than that though, the process is pretty straight forward. I think I got both of them at wholesale sports.Cabelas lists them every now and then as well.

I have more than a few. I primarily use them for calibers in bolt action rifles. They only neck size and are dandy for surplus rifles like the .303 British and 6.5x55 Swede. These tend to have oversized chambers and loading with the Lee Loader gives a custom brass to chamber fit. Also good with the .45-70 but not ideal if using cast bullets. They do not work so well with repeaters such as pumps, levers and semi autos. Overall very good value for the money. Also they are fun to use. Anyone who has a .303 British lee Enfield should have one.

I made some very accurate .223 ammo with one for a few years. Well worth the money if your a low volume shooter.

I started loading a 308 Norma Magnum with a Lee Loader. It made good accurate ammunition,
but was definitely on the conservative side with the included "dipper." A scale brought that
up to specs. Dave.

ya started with one 50 yrs back still got some of of the target sets...a few tricks were learned the had way.... learn how to anneal the easy socket/ drill style ......some of my best loads were done with them.......1 gun 1 set of brass.....parker hale 243 hb........still got it and the target set......simple cheap good and relaxing......im not alone......speed is fine accuracy is final

The man above gave me duplicate organs for a lot of pieces. Willing to trade organ parts but preferably cash for a set in 410 and 12 gauge. The ideal tool when I’m on long term back woods visits and space is at a premium. Amazing tools

I bought 12 ga in the early 60's and used it a lot when paper hulls were still available. I actually ordered it from the States and paid duty on it because of the steel content. Once paper hulls became hard to get I kind of backed off on use even with the nylon crimp starter I also ordered from the states. My Dad ordered a.303 Br and used it a lot until my Mom bought him a Remington pump-7600 in 30-06. Years ago he gave me both sets which I still have but unfortunately some water got in the plastic bag and they got all rusted up. Every now and again I spray them with penetrating oil but I think they are toast.
