How big is the flash hole?
Does it have a removable liner on the flash hole?
Do you have a grease gun?
A needlepoint tip, or a built up adaptor for a grease nipple, and yer in business.
I had to do this once with a percussion gun that had been double loaded (powder ball powder ball) and the owner had hosed the whole thing down with WD 40.
It had sat a while. It was ugly. It took a good solid grunt on the handle of the grease gun to get it moving, but once it was moving, no trouble at all.
It may be worth trying a rubber tipped air nozzle gun (not a safety type one with the bleed off holes on it) and the tire fill station or an air compressor.
If you try the fill station idea, you can leav the whole operation in the trunk, say, in a soft case, and just allow thee ball to pop out into the end of the case.
There are a couple different ways of going about this, depending on what tools you have.
A screw type puller on a solid cleaning rod is another way. You can wrap tape (any kind) around the rod to keep the screw centered, and a couple more along the shaft wouldn't hurt anything, either.

As a thought.
Have you got an office depot near you? They sell a air-inna-cartridge blowgun, supposedly for cleaning out the innards of a computer. Didn't look all that close at the nozzle on it, but it was about 12 or 15 dollars, and had a spare cartridge with it.

Nope, it kinda looks like they will, but that's just an error of the way the website was put up. They explain on the site that they don't.

Ok, so I called genuine innovations and asked the guy who deals with the unloaders, eric, to hook me up.
He couldn't find anyone in Canada they supply, so he got me in touch with RMCsports.com who sold me one with the CO2 cartridge removed so they could ship to Canada (international post is airmail, and they don't want compressed gas cylinders on airplanes).
He was real nice about it, seems like a mom and pop business, sold me a vent pick and brush and wrench on a keychain for five bucks while he was at it.
