I should say! Chances of a FN HP making it through the war unused are pretty slim I'd say.
Has it got the correct magazine too?

I'm sure no expert but I've always thought that the WaA 140 acceptance was a mid/late war thing - which would fall into the "b" suffix numbering (1944ish)
If you gun has no suffix, it should be an early war example
the Germans kept better records than the Belgians
Sounds like a prize in any event!

Nice HP and mag! It seems the mags are harder to find than the pistols themselves lol

Gun sounds correct as described. No letter suffix went quite high. And 140 was their code pretty early. I believe it was at very first 613, then 103 and then 140 but this all happened in 1941.
I’ve never seen a 613 but haven owned e/103 marked mag and gun. Still had tangent sight.
