The R/C Mausers are indeed generally parts mismatching and usually have their Nazi markings peened by the Russians who captured the rifles. They are generally not refinished or retouched in any further manner, and certainly not by any commercial organization. Each shows decades old, worn bluing characteristic of having been used by both Axis and Allies in the second world war. The stocks similarly are not touched in any way and show dings and finish wear from those years of war service. No refinishing, buffing, sanding, etc is present on any of the rifles that we have seen.
Cheers,
Daniel
