German Pecar Berlin Variable 3-7 scope with unknown mounts

Found this scope with rings. Does anyone know what rifle those mounts are designed for?
Any help would be appreciated.

Look to be the double claw mounts popular in Germany.
No particular rifle - German gunsmiths would fit the bases to whatever rifle the customer had. All hand fitted, bases to rifle, rings to bases. If you found a rifle with bases of this pattern there is no reason to assume that your scope could be installed.

Yes tiriaq is completely correct! But also there's a few people that seem to be selling the bases needed for the rings on fleabay.

If you do get bases, Jason at Gunco in Nepean would be my first choice to have everything fitted up.

I have no use for this, so I'll be looking to move this optic with mounts. Maybe somebody who collects this type of gear can get more use out of it.

Well the very good news is that the rings aren't soldered to the scope...when and if you list it you will want to 'mic' the tube diameter for a potential buyer ...very likely 26mm but there were some unusual diameters
