Here's a link to a bit-torent of two German educational films for sharpshooters. You'll get some nice Kar98 with Zielvier footage and scoped G43's. There's also some minimal footage of allied weaponry which is nice. For those of you who can speak German like I do the dialogue is wonderful and actually mildly amusing at times.
(It seems that educational films are the same no matter what time frame or place.)
Video quality is good and the dubbing is decent. (although I would've preferred 100% subbing. Ahh well.)
Did I mention the droolworthy scoped mint Kars which we KNOW aren't fake? :shock:
What I've noticed:
- German camouflage umbrellas... neat idea.
- German use of what's sort of a ghillie suit. (net suit) Also got a kick out of the birch tree camo.
- Use of fakes and puppets to distract or lure the enemy.
