Getting Ammo to an Out of Province Match...

Hey All

So, I am making preparations for attending the 2014 IPSC Nationals in BC.

My only question is probably simple. As I am flying to the event, how can I get the 600+ rounds my wife and I will need to the match? Will there be vendors there to buy from or should I make preparations to buy some when I arrive?

If I choose to fly with Ammunition, does anyone know the requirements for flying with ammunition?

Any advise is appreciated.

You can bring 11 pounds of loaded ammo per person on a flight. As an aside air Canada will charge you a $50 fee each way to bring your guns

Arrangements are being made for someone to receive ammunition if you wish to ship it. There is also some discussion about securing a match ammunition source. More details will be available as they get finalized.
