Does anyone want to share some load recipes for a 300 WSM. I was thinking of loading Barnes TSX in 180 gr. but struggling with all the different types of powder these days. It would be great if someone would share some load recipes. Thank you in advance.

I am shooting it out of a Sako A7. I did not work up an accuracy load. I simply loaded to near max, verified the load shot decently, and called it a day. I am not overly concerned about accuracy. Anything in the minute and a half range is just fine for my hunting purposes.

H4350 is consistently one of the best powders I have used in my 300wsm with 180's. I have had good luck with imr 4831 with both 165 and 180 gr pills and H100V is outstanding with 165gr bullets.

I didn’t have any luck with h4831 or 180s. My rifle was an older Browning a-bolt2 with a fairly short barrel and I’m guessing wasn’t twisted fast enough and hindered by the short action magazine. I ended up shooting 165 accubonds with h4350.

I loaded some 200 grn eldx with a starting charge of reloader 25 with excellent results. 1 moose and 2 elk taken with it. Hard to find reloader 25 these days.

Started out with IMR 4350 back in 2005 for my A-Bolt II Stainless Stalker, cuz I had a few lbs of it. First go round was very good results. Second time was a charm with 1/2 MOA @ 100 yds with near max loads and NO pressure signs at all !
I'm running 180 gr bullets..all Noslers, love the Ballistic Tips, and Accubonds, and my POI is identical for both !! I'm using WLRM primers and 64.2 gr of IMR 4350. This ol favorite gun of mine (my son loves using it too) has taken multiple deer, few bear and 2 moose with it !!
**This load was developed for my gun and your results may vary...reduce and work up !
Best of luck with it !

66gr Superformance, Rem 91/2 M primer behind 180gr CX, consistent 2850 fps. Very happy with this recipe. All depends on what your rifle prefers. Best of luck.

Just to add to that, OAL is 2.870. Chambers good, no feeding issues.
