hey guys, im lookin to do some long range shootin, some at the range, some for prairie dogs/coyotes etc.. i really don't want to cheap out on a scope, and i want one that i will be able to use forever, so i was naturally thinkin of a nightforce, what is the difference between the benchrest versions and the nxs or whatever. i certainly don't plan on banging it around, i hope to start off with a .243 and then as money allows upgrade and modify, do you think i could make use of the 12-42 x version? i'd rather spend the extra few hundred or whatever it could possibly be and be happy a year from now, and which reticle would u guys suggest? i am a little familiar with 'mildot ranging' and i want to be proficient in it. so i was leaning away from that np1rr or whatever, with the lil circles... what are your thoughts, i plan on shooting as far as i can... if creating a 6br or soemthing that can do 1000 yrds, then i'll probably have that some day, and try it out, i just don't want to go through 3 different scopes tryin to keep up.
