Getting my first shotgun. Looking for lots of cheap practice 12 ga ammo

Hi everybody,
After 15 years of shooting .22 lr exclusively, I finally got my first shotgun; a Mossberg 590A1. As I have zero experience with shotguns, I'd like to find a good source for bulk 12 ga ammo or any 12 ga ammo that's cheap.

Does anyone know of a good source please?

Keep an eye on Cabela's. They have sales on the Challenger target loads for $6.49 a box. They are actually on sale right now too! I got myself 2 cases (10 boxes each) just last week.

+1 for cabelas. And when you combine their 6.49/box offer with a free shipping coupon, it's a win win. Only way it gets better is when they ship to QC, and you only pay 5% sales tax.

That's how I buy my target loads.

Reloading is cheapest, but for me, Walmart 100 round bulk packs are easiest.

Reloading is not the cheapest for target loads. I'm in Ontario and can buy Federal Target from Lawrys shooting sports for $67 per 250 rds. I can't buy components for that price. I do cast my own slugs and reload those for about $0.10 each which is worth it.
