Hi there,
My husband and I will be writing our tests for the non restricted license at the end of the month. I just took a close look at the form for the license and it asks if "During the past five (5) years, have you threatened or attempted suicide, or have you suffered from or been diagnosed or treated by a medical practitioner for: depression; alcohol, drug or substance abuse; behavioural problems; or emotional problems?"
I'm on Citalopram (anti-depressants/anxiety) since without it I sometimes get the blues and stressed out from my job. Its a ridiculously low dose. I have never been suicidal or anything, its just that sometimes I can't sleep well when I have a brutal work load.
So my question is - should I even bother wasting money on the exam and application fees? Is anybody here on medication such as mine, but still licensed? Would it help to get a letter from my doctor explaining that I am not at risk?
I just want to target shoot with my husband and hunt grouse.
