Want to get out of the black guns game. Never thought it’s so hard to drum up energy trying to take pics, research prices and follow fine-print rules to post ads. Hopefully soon I’ll get to post ads for several black guns. Debating if I should sell some pistols too.

Might just keep an ACR, and perhaps something “reddish black”.

I here yah Pete but my personal opinion, advice would be keep 1 AR, 1 Pistol, 1 Shotgun and NR... you will only end up one day buying many of them back when you get the itch again!
Also you would be 1 less person who owns a Restricted... don't just think of the money.
Just thin out the collection!

Well there's the truth. Don't pretend this has anything to do with C71 (which is silent on black guns) or a handgun ban (which is a fiction).

Why are the liberals talking about a handgun ban? Because their base wants them to. How long have they been thinking about it? It was party policy in 2005 when Paul Martin Lead the Liberals to a crushing defeat, and it hasn't appeared on party policy since. It comes up at every convention, and at every convention there is a train of liberals who get up and remind the government how terrible of an idea it is and how it ship wrecked the party in 2005.

Not one liberal has said they are going forward with a handgun ban. They are just talking about what the people want to talk about.

When I look at one of my black guns and lament its appearance, I don't sell it. I simply get some paint.

If you arent using them, by all means divest. If you are depressed about the future of owning them legally, then just stop reading all the hysteria on the news and enjoy life.

Agreed,without doubt. If I had assets I no longer was interested in and there was an outside chance that I could lose them,altogether and if I was sitting on the fence,that would certainly be enough impetus for me to convert them to cash and change direction. I'd do it in a heartbeat.
 
I find that the buying and selling is almost like a part time job. This year I barely touch the rifles, but if I have to go disposing and rebuying based on the seasonal fluctuations of my hobby I will be forever busy buying and selling stuff, and end up losing more money over a long horizon.

I got things I don't use, but I just leave them alone. It is not like AR technologies have changed a lot since 2003 other than the number of rail slots on the hand guards......
