I am about to challenge the CORE exam in a few days here, I wont be doing the firearms part as I have my PAL. I have watched all the videos several times and on my second read through the book, I know the test only needs 56/75 to pass so how difficult are the questions? Anything specific I should focus on?

not so much identification but knowing the regs, licences and rules about big game and migratory bird stuff.

I don't have a link for the videos sorry, the guy who gives the test sold me the book and lent me two discs which I copied to my hard drive and gave back to him, so I have them only on my drive at the moment (dvd folders).
I am not sure if I fully understand the regs though, I may have to get someone to go over those with me..I managed to get a copy of the 2011/2012 regs which where a pain in the arse to get around here as everywhere I went didn't get enough of them in.

It is quite easy, I only flipped through the CORE book for about an hour the night before I challenged, passed with ease...That said, I wish I had taken the course as I would likely have learned a fair bit more.

Bird identification is the hardest part. You are aloud to use the regs for the test as you have to look things up.
The test is WAY to easy in my opinion.

This test was a little more difficult than i thought, but wasn't bad. If you know how to read the hunting regs and the animal identification you should be ok.
