getting started

want to get back into hunting and shooting,no pal,fac no good and now just getting ready to challange pal test.anyone have any advice?.have handbook and checked out the net a bit.wil be looking at a 270,30-06 or similar for deer hunting.i do have a few "antique"rifles a 303 brit,6.5x55 swedish 12 gauge and couple of old 22s. well will check out site and get informed.

I went through the process last summer. I would hae had more fun smashing my manliness on a rock. Thanks to our local wildlife federation for ther awesome help through all the red tape. Good luck.
