I have a few VZ58's but I have never taken the buffer tubes off before. I don't own anything else with a tube so this is new to me. Do I need a armorors wrench or can I get it off with out one. I just bought the NEA adaptors to take the downward angle out. Any help would be appreciated .

I have 3 CSA and they didon't come with a armorers tool. I'll have to try a hammer and puch, the hammer and screw driver with some hockey tape over it didn't donthe job. I bought mine from sfrc

Assuming you have the CSA with the m4 style stock it comes with.

Just be careful. The material the tube and the castle nut are made of are extremely soft and cheap. I basically wrecked the threads on mine and that was with an AR tool.

I had to tighten my castle nut recently and used an AR tool. I was very surprised as to how soft that material was. As Mr. Lemur said, be careful.
