How else are you going to clean all the gunk out of it . If you don't clean it it might stick & go F/A on you and you wouldn't want that ! .
There was a nice E2 at the Kamloops gun show yesterday Price $495.00 . And there was even a 10 shot E2 mag on a other guys table for $85.00 .
Guess that makes my E2 collection worth around $1500.00 Not bad for a gun that sold for $58.00 LOL

My dad has a Gevarm .22 and I have experienced the pop...pop...popopopop before. That grouse didn't know what hit it... It took me a second to figure it out too.. The gun got as good cleaning that night.
I'll show some pictures one day so you all can tell me what model it is.

Good call and info Dump Shoot, I thought the marks were from using not quite the right size pinpunch on those pesky not quite standard roll pins. Simple design and reliability make my Gevarm a real fun rifle.

Love These Gevarm Posts

Below is an old 1970s full page ad from the little SIR catalog. I've run it several times here at CGN. I now drool while reading these prices. Recently offered at an online auction here in the States was an E1 still in original box, all the plastic wrappings, papers, manuals, factory target, etc., etc.. As I recall it went for $850.

I have gevarm e2 export model rifles. it is an e1 model with improvements. the receivers and trigger group appear to be aluminium. since 22lr isn't real high velocity. the e2 export model was the last ones made before the factory closed.
