Since i know how hard these are getting to find and how much they go for, i was wondering if anybody has attempted to modify a Gevarm 22 to accept other types of mags or maybe modified a different mag to work in these guns. I recently let my brother in law use my old gevarm for some gophers and he managed to lose both my 8 shot and 20 shot mags.

Gevarm mags.
If I had a brother-in-law that managed to lose both an eight round and especially a 20 round Gevarm mag, I would horsewhip the mangy cur.
Regular 8 round mags go for over $50 at Gun Shows, and a 20 is closer to a $100 bill.
That said, I have modified Smith and Wesson model 41 mags to fit the Gevarm. You have to file them a bit, but they do fit and work.
My Gevarm is the older light weight receiver, rounded at the back. There were other Gevarms made, and I only have the mag. experience with this one. You didn't say which one you had.
