Gevarm/Manufrance Perfex 12GA Semi Auto

Hello all,

I have in my possession a 12 Gauge semi auto shotgun. It is marked both as Manufrance and Gevarm. Model is the Perfex. It's a nice gun, shoots very well but I cannot find much information on it anywhere.

The few bits an pieces are the stamp "Choke" On it could ether mean fixed full choke or fixed improved. I've also heard the barrels from remingtons might be interchangeable in it. Anyone able to share some info?

I took it into my work and had the gunsmith look at it and check out the barrel compared side by side to a remington 870 barrel. They were identical except the Gevarm has a square hold cut out on the top and the remington only has a square indent. He said go for it and try it.
