The brass is heavy like norma brass--have to watch your reloads. If it was made near the end it might be very inconsistant as they were in "use it up" mode. I have seen late boxes of ammo with mixed bullets in the same box--as it plain base and boattail--its been a while but as I recall it was 30-06 ammo.
