Ghetto forward grip

Well I got bored and used some of the parts from a parts kit to make myself a forward grip. Doesn't interfere with mag changes and its solid. Hideous though.... Took about 15 mins, just had to remove some material from the top of the grip to make it rounded to fit the lower handguard. I think I might put my normal lower handguard back on but I have always wondered what it would look like.

Looks good, though I'd almost reverse the forward handle. Do you find any problems with mag changes?

I thought of doing the same thing, but facing the other way, like on a Romanian AKM. Not bad, probably look better with the factory folder, the solid stock has a funny angle that doesn't suit the fore grip.

Yea I think I will pick up a folder pretty soon. I like full stocks though. Pretty comfortable grip with way it is but it might be OK backwards

Hideous is in the eye of the beholder. I think it looks kinda 60s era Soviet Bloc cool. No, its not a badass black ops special, but if you wanted one of those, you'd have gotten one of those, so to speak.........

Those are cool.. both yours..? I personally dont like vertical grips on VZ, but i like how those handguards are more square than usual...
