Ghetto light clamp, check this out mossy fans!

I made good use of the clamp that held the two barrels together in my mossberg package, a few snips with a bolt cutter and a coat of flat black turned it into a decent light clamp. This l.e.d is a bit too thick but it still holds on snugly, I could either attach it to the tube or barrel but the shotgun bead is centered in the light beam while its angled like that so it turned out well

Now I just have to take it out to the range and see how it holds up with the recoil

you could mount it to the barrel, behind the end of the mag tube and have it mounted offset to the barrel and it may not look so awkward

The clamp looks like the mag is bending the light up. It would be lighting up the area above your target, rather than wht you would want to shoot.

yep you're right, it was fine in a small room but the light beam is too high at 15 yards so I took a bit of janesy's advice and twisted the mount until the l.e.d was free from the tube, it looks a bit weird but I don't think any home invader or bear will care how the light is positioned
