Found a place called Krebs in the USA that manufacturers a ghost ring/aperature replacement rear sight for an AK-47 , but they won't ship to Canada . Anyone up here make 'em for the CZ 858 ? In addition the AK-74 muzzle brake . I like those but can't find a Canuk manufacturer for the 858 ? Looks alone , i like 'em and want one .

Now if NEA would manufacture a tritium front sight with an aperature/ghost ring rear with a tritium dot on each side of the aperature i'd be so in for that .

While i have the attention of you gentlemen , there is one other thing . I replaced the factory fore stock on my 858 with a Fab lower hand guard and an NEA picatinny rail on top . The Eotech is on the rail but i need a picatinny adapter that comes off the left side of the NEA rail to mount a light . A light mount that comes off the side . Where can i get one ? Something that will stick out about 1 inch . I'm not interested in a barrel mount but don't know where to buy picatinny adapters and accessories .

'Nuther thing although i didn't save the targets . Benched the rifle today at 100 yards and fired 5 round groups . 4 - 5 round groups with Norinco averaged 2.850 inches . 3 - 5 round groups of Chech surplus averaged 4.100 inches . Managed to get 185 yards across a gravel pit and fired 2 - 5 round groups of Norinco . The first group was 5.00 inches while the second 5 round group was 6.500 inches . Didn't try the Chech surplus at 180 and didn't try anything with the Eotech . Does that pretty much match what everyone else is getting ? Looks like the Norinco shoots a shade tighter . Off to a late start and ran out of day light . Thanks guys .

There WAS a Canuck company that made a "ghost ring" style rear apperture sight piece, I think it was about $65canabucks, but I can't recall who makes it or if they still make it, or if they are in business anymore. Might have been NEA, Neit or someone else.

I know I want one for my own VZ, I think it would be a major improvement over the standard rear iron. I've already got a red fibre front blade installed, it's quite nice, I recommend it, and it didn't cost too much.

I"m not sure if Rauch is still in business or not. Anyway, pics/info about halfway down the page:
