I'm looking for a set of ghost ring sights to put on a Mossberg Maverick 88. I was hoping there was something that I could braze on the front of the barrel for the front post, and attach to the reciever for the rear sight. Anybody know of any suggestions? It's to go on a cut down 20" barrel, with no vent rib. Thanks for your time!

There are couple of front sights with barrel bands out there, XS offers one, Sage International another that might make the job easier. Check with Badboybeason and see if he has something in stock or any suggestions. You can also check the Brownells on line catalog.

i think it would be prohibitively expensive to do on a Maverick 88 with a cut down barrel.
youre looking at around $150 for the sights, plus about $100 installation (tapping into an aluminum receiver, no less). if you really want ghost rings, your money would be better spent putting that money towards another gun with them already on it.

I was one of the guys he screwed over...(took my EMT...didn't communicate or ship...a month later after I tracked him down he gave me my $ back)

Just on principle. He...stole money from me and lied... and to this day no explaination except a curt email saying that the money will be EMT'd back into my account.
But it takes guts to stay online and still post with that account even with the negative trader rating
