Ghost sight

Anyone drill out their rear aperture to make a ghost ring sight like the XS 0.125? Anyone have an extra norc rear aperture they don't need?

I tried it on a Norc aperture but wound up just going back to the standard size. It's a little brighter and faster but the sight picture isn't as sharp. Could be my aging eyes though...
 
Haven't tried yet, but I plan on it. Going to order a couple USGI ones and drill them out in varying size. Not sure what the standard size is on the Norcs but when I look through them it just seems to blur out lol. So no NM for this dude! I plan on using mine as a hunting rig while driving the back roads in a truck or out on the boat. So I'll need fast target acquisition that the smaller hole doesn't provide.

I'd offer you mine, but the factory decided that it would be better to drill the hole in the lower half of the site :p It was off center and is destined for the garbage.
