Hi, my name's Ross and I'm originally from Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Visiting the wilds of B.C. has always being in the back of my mind, one day hopefully !

I absolutely relish time camping out in the bush. I’ve recreationally hunted rabbits for several decades with my old Model 2 BRNO rimfire rifle and recently bought my first centrefire – a beautiful old .243 Win 26” round barrelled Browning B78 High Wall single shot.

I thoroughly enjoy the associated science of reloading various different cartridges – for currently hunting introduced pests such as feral cats, foxes, goats and pigs.

I firmly believe in, and appreciate, the notion of people sharing their collective knowledge and relevant experiences on such a forum.

All the best.

Hello and welcome for the only occasionally wild land (the sea is a different story) of Nova Scotia (east coast). My hunting days are long over, but I collect handguns of various sorts and like to reload for them. Hope you do make it to BC. It's wonderful country.

BC is an amazing place for people who love the outdoors. And I dare say our Firearms law a far sight better than those in Australia.

Hope you make it here one day (I came for a 2 week visit 15 years ago).

G'day back.. I lived on the corner of Elizabeth and Liverpool... for about 7 months last year... (no view of the park.. I faced the ANZAC house !) Worked downtown for a little banking company.. Man does my kid miss Darling Harbor.. The Carousal and just all the boats and people... Did the Onslow ever get towed to the drydock?

I still miss the foote... Philips' Foote.. Was a regular haunt of our crew.

.. Welcome ! .... 'Lived for year, at the Australian Governments expense, in Cronulla ( right on the Spit, with a GREAT SURF Beach at the back door ) .... I assume that King's Cross is as colorful as ever ? "Our" HQ was by Oxford Square, which is just a stones throw away from the 'Cross .... David K....:welcome:

Sincere thanks to all those who welcomed me aboard - very much appreciated. Overall, I’ve heard Canadians are rather friendly folk – much like us Aussies ! For those unfamiliar with the Great South Land, I live on the western outskirts of Sydney - near the base of the Blue Mountains at Penrith. A friend of mind from school recently returned from a one year teacher exchange in Ontario and, maybe except for the minus 20˚C temperatures, he and his family absolutely loved it. What a place to resume another old outdoor activity of mine - cross-country skiing. Retirement’s not too far off so a visit to ‘Mountie’ country is on my wish list.

Welcome aboard.

I'm currently residing in your nice warm country for the last year :)

Originally from BC so if you need any pointers on where to travel in BC or what to do when you get there shoot me a PM and i'll try and help you out.
