Girsan 1911 coming to Canada?

I saw that Girsan 1911's are available in the US. Any plans for these to come to the Canadian market?

I was just about to start a new thread on this subject. I sure hope they're coming. I love my Yavuz 16 Regard Compact. if the MC1911 comes in at the same price point, my Norc/SAM debate will fall to the wayside and I'll get the Girsan without a second thought.

There is already an FRT entry for the Girsan MC1911 published. Someone should be trying to bring them in.

What is the appeal of the Girsan over the SAM for you?

I won't even bother asking about Girsan vs norc lol

I had a Yavuz and it was a quality piece, but then so is the SAM

Looks like the Girsan has a series 80 system, according to their website

"Safety System : Safety Lever, Pin Safety Block, Grip Safety"

Just looking at affordable entry level 1911's. Sam and Norc are in the same price range. My Girsan was just a tiny bit more. People debate all the time as to whether or not to buy one from norc or sam, or save up a bit mroe for an entry level STI ... I love my Girsan, and if I get my mits on a 1911 made by them I'll have a good idea of the Quality.
