Girsan R9/regard barrel question

Im wondering if anyone can tell me how close a Beretta 92 barrel compares to a Girsan R9/Regard?

In what respect? I don't think they are interchangeable if that answers your question, but accuracy wise they are just as good. At least mine was.

I was hoping for interchangeability or how close. May sound odd was wondering if an aftermarket 92 could fit a Girsan.

The locking block's are slightly different so no, it would not be a drop in affair.

I've heard that the barrel is the only part between the 92 and Regard that isn't interchangeable.

Seconding for hearing that the barrel is not interchangeable. Something due to using a different locking wedge.

Thanks everyone. I was looking at buying a Girsan R9 sporting (SAO) from Tenda and buying a KKM aftermarket barrel for a Beretta 92, but it sounds like it won’t work or might be risky.

The Girsan slide is cut at an angle compared to the Beretta 92. The locking block is different but the bbls are pretty close to the same...you'd need to use the Girsan locking block with an aftermarket bbl,but I'd refer it to a gunsmith...not sure if it would fit...
