Girsan Regard disliking Promag magazines

I have a Girsan Regard in 9mm (Beretta 92 clone) that is not liking ProMag magazines. The pistol works fine with other magazines. It just binds up on the ProMag brand magazines ( all three, not just one mag). Does anyone else know anything about this phenomenon? Any advice appreciated. Thank you!

Promag are pretty trash, the main problem I found with the Girsan specifically is the last round hold open on the magazine is too short and skips over the bar on the gun locking up the slide.

Temporary solution was filing off the last round hold open tab on the follower. Not a great solution

Long term solution was to replace the followers with beretta ones or in my case 3d printed ones spectre ballistics did for me ages ago. Stoeger Canada also has them $20 per with a fresh spring.

Realistically if you can refund and buy new that would be ideal.
Mecgar or beretta mags are good (pretty sure mecgar makes the beretta ones anyway)
