Hello,
After spending almost a decade working in Arizona (the land of almost no gun laws), I am glad to be back living in sunny Orillia, Ontario. I have grown up hunting and fishing and have always had an insatiable curiosity. I was drawn to this forum because of the humbling wealth of knowledge and experience that is evident throughout it. Of course I love all things firearms but what I love the most is figuring new things out. I find the more you know, the more you begin to realize that you know very little. I appreciate the opportunity to be a part of this forum.

You're allowed to use guns here as long as the day of the month is simultaneously even, prime and its square root is a whole number.
 
Welcome back. If you are in Orillia, there are two or three CGNers nearby who will be able to help fill your need for speed (i.e. fps mv). Send me a private message and I will make introductions offline.

On the bright side, as long as you have your Restricted PAL, you can own really short barreled rifles and plenty of models that Americans drool over. You are also in good deer, turkey, bear and wildfowl territory, and not far from moose habitat.
 
I've spent time each of the last few years down in Phoenix competing at Ben Avery with my guns and have had a great time in that firearm friendly state. Why you as a shooter chose Ontario is beyond me, while Alberta is far more firearm friendly.
