Glades Armory bolt handle issues

I picked up a Glades Armory bolt handle off the EE a while ago for my Ruger American Rimfire. For some reason it does not seem to fit properly on my bolt. I had to really force it to get it onto the bolt and it would not rotate properly. Once in the rifle it caused the action to bind up. I recently acquired a dremel and am now wondering if it would be ok to enlarge the opening on this thing a little to make it fit better. Worst case scenario is I bugger it up but I'd be no worse off, I've switched back to the factory bolt handle anyways. Would I need to re-finish it after taking some material off? For that matter, anyone know what material they used to make these?

Are you sure it's the RAR one you got and not the Ruger American or the Preditor one?
Because they are different.
I ask because I have both the RAR and Preditor ones and the went on no problem and run smooth as silk.

Did you watch the instillation video?

This is the one I have. It does say it fits all calibers of the RAR.

I also went off of the info I found here: ht tp://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=559972&highlight=glades+armory

i think i do have pics of when i did the install as i did both of mine at the same time, sec ill go look at my online library to see what i have.

*wait one*

black one is the RAR one, silver with black end is the American Predator one.
the RAR one goes into a round piece that goes on the bolt where the American one just goes right into the bolt - totally different parts that marry up to the bolt.

I'll have to try just the bolt handle in the channel later. The handle itself basically won't slip onto the bolt. It is incredibly tight and can be forced on but then the bolt doesn't function.
