Hey there, looking to get a synthetic/fiberglass stock for my Norc. M14. I have seen certain post about "Glass Bedding".....can some tell me, the greenhorn, what this is, how its done, how difficult it is to accomplish this and if it is to be done professionally, approx. how much it cost to be done.

Cheers & Beers

Okay, here is a sample description of the glassbedding process. You can always google search it and find several other more illustrative glassbedding procedures, but ours is the simplest (but without pics). That's why it's better for you to come to the clinic and I will show YOU with my 'finger of authority' how to carry out such a job. :D

Wobbles99 is a great guy. Here is his thread from the 08 Nov 2008 Edmonton Clinic:

Read it, but don't get intimidated. It's a lot easier than it sounds and trust me, yer #### won't fall off! :D

I heard my name and came running.:D

If you read the post I made it should give you the rundown on how to do it.

As far as pricing: What ever jb weld, masking tape, paper towels, and nail polish remover costs you.

As long as you have the above items plus a dremel (even a drill and a bit would work), a knife, some popsicle sticks and a cup to mix in, and a hammer to tap the action out you'll be set.

If you still don't feel comfortable wait until hungry comes to your town and he'll tunr you into a full blown, swinging #### expert like me.:p
