Globe 555... Any information?

I used to go to the Globe store in Ottawa. It was in Vanier beside the Post Office, near the Playmate :twisted: .

The last rifle I bought there in 1978-80 was one of the Mauser K98ks converted to 30-06 and issued to the post war Norwegian Forces.
 
Has the Old Globe Factory reached the same status as a historic site just like the old Inglis Factory in Toronto or the Mauser Factory in Oberndorf? :wink:
