Hello everyone.

So I am a sucker for a 22 with nice peep sites.

I fell into a Savage MK11 FVT that comes with very nice William sites.

It only had the one installed front site post installed.

William will ship to Canada but cost is more then the entire set.

Anyone have a Canadian Source for them?

You could try Nordic Marksman, they carry sight inserts. I don't know what size your Williams sight needs, but I was able to buy a card of, I think, Lyman inserts from Brownells, and a set of clear inserts that fit the same Schultz and Larsen front sight from Nordic Marksman. I use the clear plastic inserts all the time in my one rifle.

I'd say the cheap bet is to go to a couple gun shows, if there are any happening in your area.

I know the covidiocy thing has cramped that, rather a lot, but I always see at least one guy at about every show I have ever been to, with a pile of sights for sale.

A user by the name of Wild Bill Hickock, IIRC, usually runs ads in the EE that list sights of that style. Worth dropping him a note maybe.

I would suggest having the dimensions handy, as well as a scan of the insert you have, as there are rather a lot of different styles of mounting, as well as diameters, for the various front sights, too.

Some ideas, anyways.

If you get really hard up for them, look in to Photo-Etched brass parts, there are a few websites that explain the process.

"William’s Front sight Globe. Includes set of ten Williams apertures. Accepts Anschutz standard apertures. This globe is the same as what comes on the Savage MKI FVT rifle, and will mount using our front sight base"

Sounds like standard Anschutz works with them.
