As the title states- Glock 17.4 vs HK SFP9

The Hk is ergonomically superior in my opinion but I have seen that it isn’t as robust, and Honda Civic like when it comes to reliability. I sold an SFP9 and am thinking I regret it, but still hang on to the fact my Glock 17.4 is just the work horse of reliability.

What say you CGN’ers- which pistol wins and why?

I tried handling a Glock and it didn’t feel right in me hand
Tried the SFP and that’s a better fit.
Pistol hasn’t let me down but I can’t speak for a glock

I've have:
Gen3 glock with a Timberwolf frame
Stock gen5 glock
Walther Q5

I know it's not a HK SFP but it's the Walther is the closest I have. It's more egonomic than the stock glock with a way better trigger out of the box.

The Gen3 with the Timberwolf frame is awesome in regard to ergos. Timney trigger with a Zev connector makes this one great too.

The stock gen5 also does work but it I need to change my grip a bit and it takes more effort to get generally the same results.

Ergonomically I find the H&K SFP9 "outstanding" and the Glock 17.4 "tolerable". Pretty much best in class vs. worst in class for me. That doesn't stop me from liking both, a lot, but for very different reasons.

If it's going to be used the way 99% of us use pistols, then the H&K is the winner for me by a very, very long margin.

If it's going to be used hard in rough conditions the Glock is probably the winner (but I haven't looked hard for long term SFP9 reliability tests, torture tests, etc.).
