Lighter is easier to manipulate and move around. Heavy is steadier, hence more accurate. Your jerking trigger finger wont move the gun around as much if it`s heavier will it Barrel weights are great for steadying guns as they are harder to push off axis.

Bought it for 400. It's in great shape but only comes with one mag, he lost the other one. Will be looking on GGN for a couple extra mags. Thanks for the great feedback everyone.

Wait, why are heavier pistol easier to shoot? I was thinking it was the opposite

The recoiling forces now has to work against a heavier mass (steel frame) versus a lighter mass (polymer frame). Thus felt recoil is reduced.

OP….get yourself a few extra mags, ammo and blast away. If it turns out the Glock is not for you sell it on the EE….

400 is on the low side but fair with one mag. 500 would be the max i'd have paid but still reasonable. I see gen 3's all day long for 550 used. For that matter i wouldn't pay more for a used gen 4, i actually prefer the 3.
